GlideQuest Consulting is still taking shape. This site is a working preview of a consultancy in its ideation stage — the products and services are intentions rather than a live storefront, and details may change over time.

Products

Some problems we've now solved more than once. Rather than rebuild them for each new client, we've packaged them up as applications your team can put to work straight away.

Where these stand today

Built by us, installed in your instance

Our applications are delivered as scoped applications directly into your own ServiceNow instance, the same way any custom development is. They are not currently published on the ServiceNow Store, and we don't describe them as ServiceNow-certified, because they aren't yet. Store certification is on our roadmap, and this page will say so the day that changes.

We mention it up front because it's the sort of thing you'd reasonably want to know before a conversation rather than during one.

What we've built

Each application is available on its own, or as part of a wider engagement.

Event-Based Webhooks

When something meaningful happens in your instance, the systems around it deserve to know. Event-Based Webhooks lets your platform team publish outbound webhooks from ServiceNow events through configuration rather than one-off scripting — so each new integration is a matter of minutes, not another custom script to maintain.

Automatic Plugin Updater

Keeping plugins and Store apps current across every instance is a chore most admins still do by hand, one instance at a time. Automatic Plugin Updater lets you schedule and control plugin and Store app updates across all of your instances from a single place — so upgrades happen on a schedule you set, not whenever someone remembers to check.

Task Relationship Engine

Work on the platform rarely lives in a single record. Task Relationship Engine gives your teams a clearer way to model and manage the relationships between tasks — dependencies, hierarchies, and connections across tables — so the full shape of the work is visible in one place instead of reconstructed from memory.

How we build and hand them over

The same standards we'd want if we were the ones inheriting the application.

  • Scoped, so upgrades stay boring

Each application lives in its own scope and follows platform conventions, so a family upgrade is a routine event rather than a project.

  • Source-controlled

Every application is developed in a repository, with a history you can review and access we're happy to share.

  • Documented for your team, not just for us

Administrator and end-user documentation is part of the handover, written so someone who has never met us can pick it up.

  • Your instance, your data

The application runs inside your own instance. We don't host it, and your data doesn't pass through anything of ours.

  • Yours to keep

If we stop working together, the application and its documentation stay where they are. Commercial terms are agreed in writing before anything is installed.

Licensing and support

Pricing and support terms are set per application and confirmed in writing before installation. Your own ServiceNow subscription is separate and stays between you and ServiceNow — our applications sit on top of the licences you already hold.

If you'd like to see one of these working rather than read about it, a walkthrough is the fastest way.
